--What was essentially a minor league team lost the the Giants 13-9 today. Ex-RedHawk Robinson Tejeda has a rough outing, giving up 3 walks and 3 hits in 2 innings. Personal favorite Josh Rupe got hung with the loss after giving up 7 hits and 4 runs in 2.2 innings.
--Ex-RedHawk Ian Kinsler gets some love in today's DMN.
--Personal favorite John Danks is competing for a spot in the White Sox rotation following his second strong outing of the spring. It's early, but definitely something to watch. Nick Masset appears to be a lock for a bullpen spot.
--It's starting to look like MLB Extra Innings will be available only to DirecTV subscribers. I think this sucks personally...I have had extra innings for about 5 yearsto watch Red Sox games and any other game where one of my boys play. It's always about money....
--The Astros preview is an interesting read this year. I'm excited to get to finally see Hunter Pence play in person this year with Round Rock. |
