And if this cannot be so, may we find in this transformation and passage moments of meaning, opportunities for love and the deep and gracious calm that comes  when we allow ourselves to move on.

  I hit the road about eight and traveled pretty steady. Mikey called when I was in Portland and I told him about twohours. I called Annie at thirty minutes out and he was out playing. I finally made it around two. He wanted to go to the mall and I had a terrible time finding Toys R Us which was his goal. I was pretty well set up to purchase a motorcycle. I wandered around for several hours before we found it. Then I had to tell him we would think about it for thirty days. His heart seems set on an electric bike for $250.00. His phone is not working and I need to get it fixed or a new one. He bought a game he pretends to know how to play. We messed with that in the park with some other kids until dark and then he decides he wants to stay with me. We arrange it and he picks up some swimming gear. We got a motel at Best Western at a 100 dollars and then went off to Chuckie Cheese for two hours. Came back to the motel and hit the hay. He watched TV and soon collapsed. A good day but spendy.
