The spirits of the mountain exist in strength. Their roots are deep in the Earth, their heads pierce the air and mount to the sky above. They dance from flat to peak and, spiraling, descend again. Good Ones, when I come under your trees and upon your stones, guide me.

Whether we see them or not, God's angels are always sent to us in answer to our prayers.

You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men.

++The social games used to be fun and charming, but lately they've become too predictable and tiresome -- it's time for a change in your plan. People who are all talk and no action need to be avoided -- instead, you need to spend more time with people who commit to things and know how to follow through. You need to align yourself with people you can depend on. Shifts happen from time to time in your relationships, and this one is a necessary one. Being hesitant to take action may be taking a toll on your psyche. Though you are jumpy, refrain from taking the plunge today. Circumstances dictate that you remain patient for just a little longer. A balanced approach will be better for you and will better ensure success when you leap into action.

I sent a package to Mikey and one to Nolan. That Bitch at the mailing store charged me $20.00. It really pisses me off and now I wished I had raised hell with her. She really threw me the pickle. I will certainly take her to task if she shows up again. I shopped at Walmart and spent too much money  but I did need some supplies. I ate at the China Buffet and it was okay. It rained most of the day. I sent an email off to MM and talked to Art. I guess most of the family is going to be there on Friday night and stay through Sunday – even Katie. I left several message to Mikey and finally got a hold of him tonight. He said he had been playing football and that he had sort of signed up – and then he backed down a little. He sounded okay but he must have been out with his Big Brother or something since he was at McDonald’s. It was good hearing from him since I missed him yesterday. He wanted to know how I was – he is learning. The wind is blowing tonight and the furnace has come on a couple of times. I watched a movie “Mama’s Boy” and it really was not that good. But at least I did not fall asleep.
