Dear Angels, help me know where to put my foot down next. Please make it REALLY clear, so I won't miss it. AS I LET LOVE IN MY SOUL IT STAYS FOREVER. The biggest challenge that any of us will ever have: to really get up in the morning and say, "OK God, what can I do to help somebody else today, how can I be a blessing to somebody else?"
The way you interact with strangers could impact your day in a very big way -- if you choose to ignore everyone you don't know, then your day will be uneventful and typical. But if you engage with other people as often as possible, you will find a huge shift in your energy and creativity. You don't have to make any new friends, but why not smile a bit more? Make silly small talk with someone as you ride the elevator together. Interaction is invigorating. Your negotiating tactics at work may need to be bolder than usual. This change in style will create new avenues, and you could learn more about yourself and your range of talents. Being caring and considerate socially may reap more benefits.
It was a rather slow day though I did not get much done. I sent some stuff off and got some sent back corrected and generally it was a drag. Tom came up and talked as if he was quitting and I think he is thinking about it. I heard from Joel and he was in trouble again for mouthing off. I guess he needs someone to talk to. Then Nolan called and did not really have too much to say except he did not want me selling the mineral rights. I called Mikey and he got the card but I had to pry it out of him and he thanked me for the money. He said he was eating shrimp and cottage cheese with a friend. He asked few question and I was watching TV so I ducked out fast – his voice changed. Oh well I guess I get what I buy. I watched a movie Coffee Date about a guy who was mistakenly thought to be gay and he was really straight. A good story but the disc was dirty – clean now. |
