My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Wednesday Third DebateOctober 15, 2008

101508 (Obama-313; McCain-158; Tossup-67)

O God, Early In The Morning I Cry To You.
Help Me To Pray
And To Concentrate My Thoughts On You:
I Cannot Do This Alone.
In Me There Is Darkness,
But With You There Is Light;
I Am Lonely, But You Do Not Leave Me;
I Am Feeble In Heart, But With You There Is Help;
I Am Restless, But With You There Is Peace.
In Me There Is Bitterness, But With You There Is Patience;
I Do Not Understand Your Ways,
But You Know The Way For Me…
Restore Me To Liberty,
And Enable Me To Live Now
That I May Answer Before You And Before Me.
Lord, Whatever This Day May Bring,
Your Name Be Praised

Deep listening is miraculous for both listener and speaker. When someone receives us with open-hearted, non-judging, intensely interested listening, our spirits expand. The stars are the windows of heaven, where the angels peek through. The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives.

++Your fresh attitude is fresher than ever right now, and today it will help other people jump onto the happy wagon right along with you! This is a time full of brightness and laughter in your life, but there are one or two responsibilities that you need to make sure you take it seriously! But if there is anyone who can have fun while getting stuff done, it's you! So don't you dare think you have to give up one for the sake of the other. No one balances things quite like you. Today will have more disappointing aspects than positive ones. Problems with certain coworkers will make today hectic. Keep a distance from them and all should fare well. You may be tempted to overspend on luxury items.

It was regular day without too much activity. The Port does not have any more containers so we stopped that activity. Some hay trucks came in and that was about it. It sounds like Tom has a bad cold that I hope he is not spreading around. I sent some pictures to MM and she liked them as I knew she would. I put four or five on Flikr and of course Annie had to put in her two cents worth about him riding in the street. What a dumb ass? I may pick up a salad and get ready for the debate. I messed up my last salad dish last night. I got a letter out to Nolan and paid GESA.  Tthere seems to be a screw up in the Cleaver hay deal. I hope that it does not get bloody. The word is that the price of hay is coming down which will bend some people out of shape I am sure. The stockmarket still looks like a mess. Io hope things pick up a little bit. This is scary. The next thing I will have yo reduce the rent for the house which will put a crimp in me. I came straight home and made a salad, ate some cereal a pear and an apple and a lot of seeds. I had some gren tea with ginger and a lemon drop. Tasty. I called Mikey and he was at a store playing with some toys. He seemed okay. I watched the debate and thought that McCain was cantankerous and Obama was just sort of laid back without a mistake. I doubt if McCain did himself much good. At least I hope so.
