The March Suncatcher TripMarch 2, 2007

I am not sure what happened to my old entries. But I guess I will be able to find them some day. I heard from Mike yesterday and he was upbeat enough and seemed pretty well settled in. He has talked to the counselor and there does not seem much chance of a visit but I intend to keep up the pressure. He says that his family has started to rally around him now that his release date is getting closer. I intend to be very positive about that. He also has mentioned the fact that he may go back to Grants Pass and wants to know if I am going to follow him. I would consider it but not really seriously. I would have to give up everything I have here which is about everything I have home and jobs and fairly central to living relatives. I am not sure that he really will want to be around me when he gets loose. Released inmates have a way of disappearing into the surroundings once they are released. The talk and good intentions of being behind bars soon dissolves when reality sinks in. I intend to keep in touch but we will have to see how it goes.

It sort of gripes me I will not be able to finish the post for yesterday. There should be a more convenient way to reconnect with it. I intend to go by Suncatcher today in Old Freewater and then whip by TriCities for a pair of Fever tickets for the 18th of March.

I made the trip to Old Freewater and the studio had sold a key tab for Roger. I got a letter from him and he seemed to think that he might be coming back to Sheridan. There is a lot of stuff going on at the Studio and the articles seem to be getting a lot of exposure though Mike's stuff does not seem to sell that well. I came by TriCities and picked up the Fever Tickets for the March 18th exhibition game. I plan on talk to Art and see if he wants to come down and take a look at the team. It was cloudy and fairly chilly all day.

I watched Adam and Steve tonight. It was a gay movie and the script was not that strong and the actors were not really that attractive. It was mainly about them getting together and getting married. They had the ceremony so I guess everyone of their friends must have looked at them as a couple. I guess that should have been enough. Quite a bit of drug culture running throughout the movie. It was entertaining.
