My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Special Irish EyesMarch 4, 2007

I thought that I had saved a draft of a couple of paragraphs but apparently not. This was a very low key weekend. There was not much going on. I planned to do a little shopping for food and get the vehicles gassed up for the week. That is about it.

I got a email from Nancy that they have decided not to come over until later. She was going to pay some bills instead - good thinking. I sent her the email that Marilyn had sent me about the corneas from Harvey's eyes had been transplanted in a young man and an old lady in Ireland. She said it made her cry. It is a very touching story.

I had not heard from Art so I called him and I guess the plans to go to the exhibition game on the 18th is a go. I am not sure why he had not answered. He said he had been working on some plumbing today since he had some pretty good weather.

I did not expect to hear from Nolan because it is hard for him to get a phone at the beginning of the month since all the inmates get a new supply of minutes on the first of the month. A couple of words from Ellen that it was snowing and wintry in Joseph.

I watched Basil to night. It was an interesting story set in England last century. This kid in a wealthy family falls for a common girl and was disowned. It had all been arranged by a friend who turned out to be an enemy of the rich father. It eventually worked out after circling for a while. I suppose it would be classed a romantic tale with an ending with a twist.
