My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Joel Fell In The HoleMarch 9, 2007

The beginning of the weekend and no plans really. It is not very sunny and I have not made up my mind what I am going to do. There is a customer (crotchety old lady) who had an operation who asked me to put her paper on the rack under the mailbox because she had trouble bending over. I did that for a while and then it fell out of the rack so I put it in her mailbox. I have been walking on the lawn because the sidewalk has been icy and I don't need a fall. This morning there was a sign to stop walking on the lawn and use the sidewalk. I have decided to throw the paper from the car and let it go where ever it hits. I think she will get the message and make a decision on what service she would like.

I had a couple interesting dreams during the nap. One was that I was on the way to New York City with Nolan (or someone similar to Nolan) who was in a different car. I stopped at a house before I got on a major highway and was cleaning out my Honda (rented). There was a little toy tractor in the driveway and in the process of getting the Honda out of the way I ran over the tractor. It was stuck under the car. I had to tell the people in the house what I has done. They took it okay.

The other was that we (I am not sure who was with me) were at a sort of rodeo. There were several bulls and young cattle in a corral. They were sort of on the prod and acted like they would chase you if they had a chance. Suddenly a skunk came racing through the area with the dog right behind him. We got a big laugh out of the scene and hoped the dog would not catch the skunk.

I left the extra paper at Good Samaritan and went to Grannys. It was okay but not great. I don't think they have the fancy chefs anymore. The vegetables were terrible again and the crab cakes were burned.

I went to the Nature Walk and got in over a mile, in fact 1.63 and that is good for me. I met an old guy and his daschund walking and we spoke. I came back to town and looked for a pair 1.50 glasses that I liked and nothing really suited me. I know what I want so will just keep shopping around.

I moved the tumble weeds away from the trees but they will probably come back again. I really need someone to clean the yard. Nolan called about supper time and talked about religion when I mentioned his dad. He really hates to talk to him. So I guess I will leave it alone. I got a letter from Joel and be has been put in the hole for disobedience. I guess he was told to put on some rubber boots and he refused. I was sorry to hear that because it will probably mean a change for him. I thought he was on the straight and narrow. I will try to get a letter out to him.

Memorable Positive Moment Today: The guy walking his daschund in the nature park.
