Talk about stretching your gas mileage.

The price of gasoline has gone up fifteen cents in the past week. I was paying $2.399 and now it is $2.549. It is hard to understand how it can jump so quickly and when it drops it is done very slowly.

I had two truck waiting when I got to work. That is always a bad start for me. I have a ritual I go through each morning and when that is interrupted I tend to be out of sync the rest of the day. It is dumb but sort of true. Michelle and Hannah came by but did not stay long when there was not much to discuss. I felt she was sort of slacking by not putting the latest containers in the schedule. She really has odd hours. Yesterday it was about nine thirty when she got here and today it was a few minutes after seven. I think she must take care of family concerns before she comes to work.

I feel like I should make a dash to Salem either Friday or Saturday and just drop in and see if I could visit Michael. I guess they could do nothing but refuse to let me see him. I am not sure how good the information goes from one prison to another. I should be on his visiting list but I am not sure it shows the relationship. I'll have to see if I get a nudge or sign in that direction.

It was not a very busy day again. There were a couple of pellet trucks and one container of oat hay. I had some COD's and I am building up a stash of money. I got in three sets of exercise and walked 2.44 today. But I am afraid that I over ate again this evening. I just need to lay off the snacks watching television.

I ran into an article on a guy getting out of prison. I thought that it might have some pretty good concepts so I made a copy and sent it off to Michael with a message about the newspaper. I hope he gets some good out of it. I think I will send it off to Nolan as well and see if he has the same reaction.

Tom came up and I could see he was a little upset. Apparently that Joe Lym had been around setting up the visitors schedule and gave Tom a rundown on the fact that he was in charge and Tom should run everything through him. He sounded like he was about ready to check out. He really does not like that guy very much. He seems like a wind-bag to me. I think he needs to set the guy straight and tell him that he has been taking orders from Logan and until Logan tells him to take orders from someone else he will continue to check with Logan. Some people are just in a power mode and they may have to be jarred out of it. But a bullshitter can get under your skin I am sure.

I watched the video Relative Strangers tonight. It was a story about a young man who had been adopted and his birth parents gave him a bad shock just before his wedding. It had some humorous parts as well as some silly ones. Danny Vito was the guy's birth parent and as always did a good job.
