My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

The Rent Was PaidMarch 15, 2007

It is one of those days when there is not much going on. I am still debating about going to Salem tomorrow. It could be a wasted trip and then it might turn out okay. I guess I think that the chance of Michael spending much time with me once he gets out of prison is not very good. He is going to want to be around his family and he probably has some negative feelings about this part of the state. I know it would complicate things for me because we would have to find a place to live and if I kicked the renters out I would be losing $800.00 a month and it is not likely he is going to come up with half of that. Then I am sure that it is not going to set well with Nolan and that is a whole other can of worms.

Michelle came by and we talked for a while. She said that Joe was a salesman and that Jeff could not be reached for over an hour because he was on the phone trying to calm Tom down. Well, the visitors show up today and we may get a feel for what's ahead of us. So far the only activity is a call from Iron Horse about a bounced check.

It was not a particularly busy day. Though I did have three containers that kept me 30 minutes late. I had to swing by and pay the power and phone.

The visitors came and left without visiting the scale-house not that it particularly bothered me. I am not sure there was that much advanced but at least Tom was in a better mood. Iron Horse came by and cleared their check and wrote another one. Andrea Green came and got some pellets for her goats and McLean took out four more grass bales.

I got in a set of exercises and walked the loop. I stopped at Subway and that was all the food I had tonight. The renter's kid came by with the rent check after they got another copy of the bill.

I tried to watch Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy and kept falling asleep which would indicate it was a pretty poor story. I left some messages on Peerflix about the fact that it is definitely getting worse. I am trading fewer discs and the ones I get are pretty bad. I am about ready to bail out since it is costing me almost $5.00 a film and that is definitely too much.  I got the letter off to Michael and checked the OSP website and found out that you had to schedule a visit with an inmate in IMU. I will give them a call tomorrow and try to go Saturday or next Friday. His birthday is the 25th so he might have some family down next weekend.

Memorable Positive Moment was encouraging Tom to become Western Alfalfa's hay broker.
