My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

First Day Of Spring BreakMarch 26, 2007

Spring break does not affect me that much any more. Around work there are people like Michelle who can move around a little bit more since there is someone looking after their kids. I need to get a dental appointment and take care of those gum cavities.

We may be fairly busy since there are some containers that are supposed to go out tomorrow. Michelle has been by and apparently there was not a lot going on Friday even though the people at the mill worked.

It was not a very busy day. Rick came by and talked about his dog. I think he had three red labs and they were all smart. He said they sleep on the bed with him and his wife. He thought I should get one but I explained that I really was not at a place a dog fit in very well. I guess he agreed. I like animals but they have their space and I have mine and most of the time those spaces do not overlap.

Tom came up and talked awhile. He said he took some kids to the Temple to be baptized Saturday and he went to Old Country Buffet and ate shrimp and salad until he was full. He gained three pounds. I guess you have to do that from time to time. I know I have to watch what I eat. I was able to make three exercise sets today but I didn't walk the loop because I stayed over and it looked like it was going to rain. I probably ate too much tonight. I was not really that hungry and probably could have gone without eating. I did get a dental appointment for April 18th - hopefully someone will cancel and I can get an earlier appointment. I sort of think it needs to be taken care of now.

I was a little disappointed that I have still not heard from Joel. I think he may have given up on writing in the blog because he is probably spending a lot of time on the TV and he is quite a procrastinator anyway. I still plan to go over there this weekend just to check in on him. I hate to make it a habit because when Mike gets out I probably wont be quite so interested. If it starts to fade away I'll just let it play itself out.

I watched Ben And Arthur this evening. Since there were no taped programs I finished the movie early. It really was not that good a story. It was about a couple of gay men who were married in Vermont. One had a religious fanatic for a brother and most of the story was the conflict between the two brothers and the fact one was gay. There was more violence than was absolutely necessary and it was slapped together rather crudely without a great deal of finesse. I am glad I did not pay a theater ticket to see it. The actors were not bad but the script was pretty weak and seemed to bounce around inconsequential details that didn't make a lot of difference in the out come of the tale. Too violent and sort of inane.

Memorable Positive Moment of the day was joking around with Salvador about Javier.
