| My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later. |

I thought I wrote a couple of paragraphs this morning and now they have disappeared. Sometimes I think this blog site can be rather inconsistent. Well, here we go again on the container numbers. The first thing this morning Salvador brought up a container I had never seen before. It was already loaded and it looked like Javier had given me a duplicate port release since the number I had on the paper work was a container we had done the previous day. So with some white-out I scrambled around and got it all straightened out before any damage had taken place. Rick was over and talked at length about tools and the fact that we have a lot of people taking tools and not bringing them back. I guess they are hauling iron out of the farm and to Portland. The price is very good and worth more than some of the other work they do around the farm. I had a rather busy day though it started out slow. After lunch there was a lot of product delivered and I had a number of containers going to Pasco or to the Morrow Port. I was able to get in my 3 sets of exercises, though I had to wait over for a truck to unload so I skipped the walk of the loop. I had less than a mile and a half on my meter. I would have liked to gotten more. I was sort of disappointed that I did not hear from either Michael or Joel. I am not sure I am going to make that trip I was planning to Ontario. I really feel I need to hear from him to see that the visit is going to be more than an hour. Michael may be working on some art work and he is going to write and send a picture at the same time. I got a report on my attempt to file my income tax and it looks like I am going to have to do some more work. They seem to think that I had too much loss on the paper route and should really show a little profit or they will consider it to be a hobby. I really dread this whole process but I am sure that I will work it out. I guess I will just file the change from Fidelity to BB & T. with an explanation that I really did not cash any of the money. I don't see why this whole process cannot be simpler. Tom was up and talked twice. Yesterday I noticed him grabbing some candy on the way out so today I did not put the basket out until he had left. It has to be too tempting to set that basket there within reach. I know sometimes I feel like grabbing some candy while I am watching television. Man, I seem to have a lot of ants on this computer table. I have two batches of bait and it may be drawing them more than it is killing them. I did not have a video to watch tonight and that is sort of a first for a long time. I checked out my tax return instead. Memorable Positive Moment today was the Laughlin driver. He is an old guy and seems to like me and tries to be pleasant. I think he is planning on retiring soon. | ||
