My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Catch Up TuesdayApril 3, 2007

So far it looks like a quiet day. Rick came back and we talked about the low temperatures and measures a person could take to keep crops from freezing. His help is loading aluminum and hauling it to Portland. They are getting $10,000 a load for old pipe taken from circles that have been repaired or abandoned. The selling of iron is almost as good. There are plenty of wrecked cars that could be carted away. In fact, I have one that I wish was gone. I would love to clean up that place.

Michelle has gone to Portland so she will not be in. It looks like I mainly will be dealing with containers today. There was not much going on all day. Old Lady Green came for some pellets and some more pellets went out to Laughlin. I had three containers and I was finished with most stuff pretty early. I was able to catch up on my financial records and now everything is up to date. I was able to do three sets of exercises and walked the loop. My supper was moderate -  salad, bread, and spaghetti and some pop corn. I ran into Mo at the Post Office and she wanted to talk about Tom. I talked around the point that I felt he was really obsessing about his diet. It seems to me like he is too uptight about the starvation thing. He kept saying that he felt hungry today - like he had had nothing to eat. That did not sound to me like a man that was committed to a certain diet the rest of his life. I could be wrong and for his sake I hope I am.

I have been wondering all day whether Michael got my letter today and what he thought about it. I hope that it made him feel good and not sorry for me necessarily. I hope he takes into account how I feel and is willing to make some sort of compensation. Like maybe move a little closer rather than further away. Oh well, I am sure it is for the best whatever it is.

I mailed off a book to Nolan for Easter. I took it to the mail place in the Plaza and they do not make a big thing about having a card with the book. The Post Office does a pretty good job of making me feel like a criminal. I ordered my prescriptions and they should be approved so that I may pick them up after work tomorrow.

I watched the video Almost Famous and I really enjoyed it. The story was about a very young guy writing an article about a rock and roll band "Stillwater". I am not sure whether there was a real band by that name or not.

Memorable Positive Moment of the day was bragging on Tom to Mo. I am sure that it will get back to him in a positive way.
