My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Fever DayApril 14, 2007

It is raining and I have to get the Expedition ready to go pickup Wes around 3:00. We are headed for the Fever Game at five o'clock. We will probably go by the tail-gate party and have a beer or two. I was going to work on picking up the yard but it is definitely too wet now. I'll get it later.

Not much going on during the day. I got two letters from Michael. The first was a panic about some guy next door who was trying to extort him for being queer as near as I could make out. He had demanded that Mike give him sperm (cum) every day or he would ruin his life and send a bunch of information to a judge. He panicked and wrote me but eventually settled down and blocked the guy out, though he left stuff around his door that caused the cops to blame Michael. There is just an never-ending stream of drama around that place. I know that he gets stressed and probably reacts too rapidly.

Wes called and said he could not go until 4:00. I showed up and he was sleeping. I thought he got up and got ready. After 10 minutes or so I roused him and we finally took off. We arrived late and parked in the boonies. He needed to get a beer tag and I went to the seats. He brought me a beer which I eventually spilt. They ended up losing the game by three points - I thought they had won it but the guy had dropped the pass. We ended up going to Red Robin for a hamburger that was excellent and finally got home about ten o'clock. He seemed to enjoy himself but it was the typical old McClatchy bullshit that he was in control and we danced his tune. I think I will just meet him over there the next time and leave the ticket at the box office. Sometimes he can be a dick-head.

The Memorable Positive Moment when I read in Michael's letter that he would be in Hermiston if he had to hitch-hike.
