Having It My Weigh Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Catch Up AgainApril 20, 2007

I had to make an early morning rush to the scale house to fax Laughlin about the screwed up scale ticket. That was accomplished and hopefully that is all behind me now. I sure do not intend to say anything to anyone unless I am asked.

On the way home I got a call from Universal card that I had a payment overdue. Damn! I looked things up and I have two cards with that outfit - one CitiBank and the other Universal. I kept pulling up the CitiBank Bank card that had been paid. I guess they are straighten out now but it cost me some bucks I did not need to spend.

Jesus is coming out today to cut down some weeds and that is also going to take some money. It never seems to end. Man, I wish Powerball would take on some of my debts.

Well, Jesus never did show up but I took the cardboard to recycle and the old TV and some other crap up to sanitation. So I am ready if he ever gets around to cleaning up the weeds.  It was a pretty good day.

I got a letter from Joel and he sent the picture we took on my last visit. He said that his mother, girlfriend, sister and Natalie were coming to visit this weekend. No one called so they must have sailed through Hermiston without a call. I would doubt that they would call on the way out but who knows. He said they had a motel in Ontario and was going to be there all weekend. That is really good that they are getting to see him again and for him to see them.

I wrote him a letter and I will work on the articles tomorrow and Sunday. Hopefully they will be ready to mail out by that time.

I watched A Perfect World tonight. It was a good movie Clint Eastwood was the director and it was about an escaped convict who took a little boy as a hostage and they developed quite a relationship.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment had to be getting the letter from Joel and getting a look at that picture. That is really something pretty special.
