Having It My Weigh Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

The Eagle CrappedApril 26, 2007

It was good news when I looked in my bank account and the state had deposited my refund. I had a debt that needed some attention and I will get some cash out to Nolan and Michael. My blood pressure was 74-46-46 and that is one of the lowest I remember recording. I must be doing something right. There does not seem to be much going on around here. Since Javier has taken the day off there is no truck driver so the filled containers will probably sit here.  All the scheduled Laughlin trucks have come and gone so about all that is going to happen is some COD's. It looks like it is going to be a nice sunny day with fairly warm temperatures.

Michelle has come and gone. She was fairly talkative this morning. Since I had spilled my coffee I was so busy mopping up that I forgot to unlock the door so she was stuck on the porch for a while.

Colorado Springs - no game

Modesto 1Elsinore 5 (no Van Kooten; Carte .264)

Ashville - no game

The only business was about the last hour of the day and they were COD orders. Oh well, I got my three sets in plus a walk around the loop. That is the fourth time I have been able to make that trip this week. I got a letter off to Michael and a picture of the guy's house but I was not able to find a name for that address.

Tom came up and hung around for a while but not much was said. I guess there is a possibility of some grain storage later on and they are looking for some hay to press. We are going to have a pretty slow April and May even looks worse.

I got a letter from Joel and his mother did pay a visit but unfortunately he had no money for picture tickets so he did not get any pictures of Natalie or her mother. Nolan called and said that his shoulder was healing but it was taking time. He was saying that it is a common ailment with weight lifters.

I watched a Bill Moyers special on the way journalist handled the news at the start of the war. It was pretty informative - it was as if everyone was afraid to get criticized for being unpatriotic. You wonder how such a well informed group of people could be so hood-winked by the government. If nothing more it should make us all more skeptical and mistrusting of everything the government does.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment was getting a call from Nolan. He is pretty reliable as a matter of fact. I hope that he is able to get things together when he gets out.
