Paperback Swap Has A Sour TasteMay 3, 2007

I seem to be having a running conversation with some female pooch in California that I sent a paperback book to. It had a water mark on it and she wants to get it free. I am about to tell her to keep the book as long as she reads it and tries to take some of the stress out of her life.

I was a paper short on the route so I read the newspaper as soon as I got to work and it was a good thing because Michelle was here at seven ten. There is nothing on the schedule so I am not sure what we are expected to do except put in our time. I did finally get my collection slips so I will be working on them today. I also need to get out the power bill and put some gas in the Expedition for the trip to Salem. It was priced at $3.249 at Gotta Stop this morning.

There was hardly anything going on today so I was able to get quite bit done until Tom came up and sat around for over an hour. We have very few orders and they broke the main shaft on the pellet mill which means it will be down about a week. I was able to get my accounts up to date and made out the envelopes and bills for collection that I will deliver tomorrow morning.

I really had a bad taste in my mouth about the Paperback Swap thing and I sort of wish I had never signed up for the mess. I may be able to get rid of my books but I sure hate to take abuse as well. I got a letter from Michael tonight and I probably wont be answering that until Sunday now. He wants about $30 every other week until the first of July and then his account is locked until he is released. It was probably a positive letter with some ads about cell phones. He is definitely anticipating his release that is for sure. I hope he can handle it.

I watched Walking In The Clouds. I thought it was a good story about a soldier getting out of World War II married and then he goes off and finds the love of his life - a Mexican family that owns a vineyard. It was fluff but enjoyable.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment today was getting the letter from Michael. He uses me but he probably does not have anyone else and it is probably not a pattern with him.
