I am still messing around and trying to get started. I would like to get some work done on the yard plus the usual gassing of the automobiles and some shopping for the essentials. There are a few people to write to. I will probably get something off to Michael and if there is time I will get a MO to Roger and a note to him.

Ellen, Sam and Riley should be on a plane soon for the trip to London. I am really glad to see that Ellen got to make this trip. I know that it means a lot to her.

It is sort of a worry that the renter has not done all of the yard yet. I need to get the water started I guess - certainly the trees need to start getting some water. I hate to see them get much higher but then I guess they will be all right. I need to work on the plans to get someone for the route next Sunday, a wedding present, and a birthday card and present for Wes.

I got a letter off to Michael and sent a DVD out. I went to the China Buffet and gassed all the autos. I got some food at Safeway and supplies and food at Walmart.

I strung the hose and soakers out along the trees on the south side and will be working on turning the  underground system on as soon as possible. I really hate this yard work. I was hoping there would not be any more when I got a renter but that has not been the case.

I watched Borat tonight. It was okay but not one of my favorites. I would have hated to pay very much to see it. There were some funny scenes but he was out to make fools of people and he pretty much did.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment today was getting an email from Steve. I don't hear that much from him as a rule.
