| My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later. |

I slept and extra hour but finally got up and started working on the computer at four o'clock and that is good because it is working. I will shower up and then dress. I think I will get in pants and tie. Maybe not until I find out where I am going and then change to the shirt and tie. I hope to stay around until mid afternoon and then return to Spokane and maybe call Art and tell him I'll pay him a visit. I got ready and decided to wear the tie and just suffer through it. I made pretty good time and went through Addy and then Colville and finally Kettle Falls. I drove through and saw Lake Roosevelt and decided to drive north since the border was 40 miles away and I had about an hour an ahalf. I took that trip and decided I need to find the Old Kettle Recreation site and started in town. No luck at anything that looked like it. I asked a woman and she sent down this road. I missed a turn and finally stopped a pickup truck and he sent me back to town and a four way stop. I found that and drove back down around the Lake again. I circled in and out until I saw some balloons and talked to another lady who said it was further on. I finally saw the crowd and I had about thirty minutes to spare. I was never panicked but it was more difficult than I expected. I saw Luke immediately and made contact. He was an usher and took me to a seat and we talked briefly. He is definitely developing into a handsome young man. The wedding started after a five minute delay and went without a hitch. It was very involved as far a promises and the explanation of what was going on. I took some pictures and talk to David and Laurie. I met Andrew who identified me as the guy who gave the Gateway. I did not stay around to eat because there was no real effort to go in that direction. The bride and groom were having pictures taken that took a lot of time. I left without saying good by but I am sure they understood. I went to a park restroom and changed into more comfortable clothes. I headed back to Spokane and stopped a while in Addy and went up into the hills hoping I would run into the the Old CC Road but no such luck. I got back to Spokane and ate at the Golden Corral and then back to the Motel. I could not get the computer to work so I went to sleep in my clothes and slept that way all night. The Most Memorable Positive Moment of course was seeing Luke again and how he always makes an effort to come around and talk to me. Even though the conversation are sort of inane as far as I am concerned. I never mentioned the CD and I should have.
