Having It My Weigh Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Setup SaturdayMay 19, 2007

There are a few things I need to work on today. I should check the last set of lawn sprinklers and make sure they work okay. I should probably add five minutes to each set also. If there is an opportunity I should check the trees on the east side of the house as well. There are some thistles that need to be sprayed as well. Nancy should show up some time today and I'll have to see what needs to be done as preparation for tomorrow's picnic. It would probably help to give the trailer the once over as well. I need to get some gas for the paper car. Les Schwab has died in Prineville. I doubt if anything much changes - I will be interested in what Gary has to say.

I cleaned the trailer and sent Michael some money. I gassed up the paper car and did some shopping. I finally got the 6th set on the sprinkler system going and scheduled everything to twenty minutes a set. Nancy called and we ate supper together at Denny's. It was okay and everyone was friendly enough. But somehow it was not all that comfortable. Nancy has really gained a lot of weight and the kids were pretty well behaved.

I have to get the food for the picnic tomorrow for the river park and everyone will meet around eleven I guess. I hope that the weather warms up a little bit. It was pretty chilly around here today. They have raked up the alfalfa next door and should be baling it this evening or tomorrow morning.

I went shopping at WalMart and then watched Mr Destiny that was a story that  a young kid missed a pitched ball when he was fifteen and he developed a pretty ordinary life. He lived the other life of hitting the ball and his life went another way. He found out he did not appreciate what he had.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment was the exchange with Haydon. He really is a pretty good kid and I like him.
