| My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later. |

It is still rather cool and windy so I am glad I am not involved in a picnic today. I will work on my collecting for the paper and do a little grocery shopping. I should finish the letter to Michael and run the vacuum over the trailer. I might even blow the Expedition out and check out the Oregon grape situation. BASEBALL 5-27-07 COLORADO SPRINGS=5 & SACRAMENTO=4 25 & 22 2nd 5 games behind TULSA=1 & FRISCO=2 (Rifkin 261) 26 & 23 1st MODESTO=4 & VISALIA=1 (Kindel 294) 27 & 23 2nd 2 games behind ASHVILLE=6 & HICKORY=8 (Paulk 354;Repec 171) 32 & 17 3rd 1.5 games behind I worked on all the accounts and brought them up to date. I finished the letter to Michael and sent him some stuff about the Sprint contract and some other general stuff. I put $100(MO) in a birthday card to MaryEllen. I think she should get it in a day or two. I ate at the China Buffet and that guys is as friendly as ever. I went to Safeway and stocked up on a little stuff that should feed me for the rest of the week. I went through the collection accounts and have those ready to be distributed tomorrow morning except the weekenders and I'll get them on Friday. The Muhlbeiers called and said they would have me a check by Wednesday. I'll go along with him because he has paid in the past. I will probably pull the plug on Furlong and Rodriquez. They are probably just trying to beat me out of it. That pretty well shot the day. I needed to fix the shower head but it got by me again. I did fx a shelf for some plants and put the geraniums and spider plant outside. I think there is a pot of chives as well. I am going to look that situation at the scalehouse and see if I can put in an Oregon grape vine. Gary called and I talked to Ellen about her trip. I guess it was all right but she did not seem that excited. They saw the North Sea and toured some antique shops. I guess Riley and his mother was another problem. I am not sure she will go back - at least not with that crowd. They are coming by on the 10th of June and spend the day with me - since they will going to Katie's graduation in Ashland. I have about decided to miss that because there is a football game and I will need some coverage the last of July on the paper route. I watched the movie Paloma de Papel which was a story about the revolution in Peru and how kids were pressured into rebel armies. It was really a good story but sad and gave a pretty good idea, I imagine, what the fight was about. Fifteen years later the kid is let out of prison and returns to his old village to find his neighborhood friends - a boy and girl- at a shrine for the revolution. The Most Memorable Positive Moment was hearing from Gary and Ellen. It is always good to hear form them. It is good that they call from time to time. | ||
