My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

There is not a lot to do today except the weekly reports and some regular chores. Michelle and the candy kid were by and stocked up. She is working on the payroll and Tom is not in the game yet. Javier brought up some hay in a loader and it was over the 15 tons. They are really a piece of work. I need to get in some exercising today,

There was not that much to do and I was able to get the 3 exercise sets in as well as walk the loop. I ate moderately but maybe on the heavy side. We'll just have to see. There were a couple containers and a new order. A Laughlin truck went out. It is not going to be a very big month.

Nolan called this afternoon and I tried to tell him that I thought he was doing all right but that I was not ready to start working on plans for his release. We would take care of it when the time came. I guess I am too much wrapped up in Mike's release to start thinking about something 13 months down the road. He has not been getting the newspaper again. That is a real pain in the ass. That has to be the most inefficient circulation departments known to man.

I finally got an answer back from the Oregonian that Mike's subscription goes into August. So I guess there is nothing to worry about that.

Tom came up and talked a couple of times. I guess he must have ate his head off during the trip to Idaho. It is hard to imagine that he is going to be able to stick to this regimen and maintain the diet. He enjoys kicking over too much. Of course, he did give up the alcohol so he may be able to so the same with food.

I watched The Departed tonight. It was a cop and robber story in Boston with a lot of undercover intrigue and blood and guts. It was really not my kind of show but it had Matt Dammon and Bill Nicholson so the acting was very good. It was extra long as well.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment today was hearing from Nolan again. He said he was on vacation but it makes one wonder since he tells those things that benefit him the most. Oh well, it was good to hear again today.
