Having It My Weigh Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

It is back to work and it looks like they will be hauling in hay all day. There are a couple of containers to go to the port. I got an email from Steve about our last exchange over Irelands. His business seems to be in some kind of slump. Javier is still driving and I am assuming that it is legal. Michelle came by but there was nothing important to report. I got the railcar loaded and released.

It was a fairLy busy day since Western Empire was hauling in some alfalfa that belonged to Cleaver Farms. I am not exactly sure where their fields are but it would take them an hour or so to get a load. They got it all in but I think they are going to have some more tomorrow.

Tom said that Laughlins called and said that two loads last week had incorrect weights by a 1000 pounds. I called the scale people and they will be here Wednesday morning and check the scales out. When Tom brought the Alaska order up I told him the only thing I could think of was that they had screwed up the scales when they were weighing that grass last week and racing across the scales. He gave me a withering look but  I am not sure whether he blames me or the guys driving the forklifts. I suppose a little of both. I probably should not have been running the scales until they came to a complete stop. Anyway that was the last I saw of him. I guess the other feather up his butt was the fact that Javier has his license taken away from him and now we are having to use the farm truck drivers to get stuff to the port. However we do not have enough orders for it to become much of a problem. I thought Tom made a rather pissy comment about inmates making counterfeit money which sort of got my attention.

I was able to get my three sets in and I walked the loop. I hate a salad for lunch and some vegetables and about 4 ounces of the 9 grain cereal. I am beginning to feel lighter so it is probably doing some good but I need to keep working on it. Doug came and pumped out the solid tank and it looked like the renter had mowed the lawn about half way.

I watched A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints which was a story about some kids in NYC and the struggle they had growing up. The one kid went off to California and it was time to come back to his family because his dad was sick. The point was that he had  left them but they had never left him. Sort of don't run out on your friends type concept.

The Most Positive Memorable Moment today was talking to Rick. He always treats me pretty good and seems to like me.
