Having It My Weigh Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

It looks like they are going to haul the complete first cutting into the mill so I should be  weighing trucks all day. A Laughlin truck has come and gone. I need to get some blog copies out to Joel and Michael. I should send money orders to Joel and Roger. There is work to be done on Schimmele's articles as well. Tom came up and sat around early - Michelle showed and talked a while. Then Rick came to pick up the tickets from yesterday.

Apparently they are moving all the first cutting to the mill. So my day was pretty busy weighing hay trucks. Some character came out for some free pellets. I am sure he did not feel that welcome. I sent off the blogs to Mike and Joel. The MO's are ready for Joel and Roger. I got another letter from Joel today but I may put off a reply until I get home from the visit. I got a call from a lady in Washington whose husband is an inmate and she wants me to sell some of the stuff he has been making. We will see how it goes. I still need to hear from the people at TCH.

Tom came up for a visit but seemed a little stand-offish. He really hit the candy bowl pretty hard. I think he pretty well cleaned the chocolate out. I am afraid that I am a bad influence on his diet but I guess if it wasn't me it would be someone else. I was able to get in the three sets and walked the loop. I had the regular by skipping lunch and getting shreds and tomatoes then some fish, broccoli, and cauliflower with half an onion. It was topped off with the usual serving of nine or ten grain cereal  I have some flowers in the planters on the scale house porch. They don't really look too healthy so I will keep my fingers crossed. I finished Bobby's latest contributions. They were a little on the weird side to say the least.

I watched Little Children that was an interesting story of some suburbia couple who had sinking marriages mixed in with a sexual predator in the neighborhood. There were some interesting parallels drawn.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment was the call from the lady wanting me to see some of her relatives stuff. I hope it is all a positive experience for the people involved. It sure does something for me.
