Having It My Weigh Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Saleable SaturdayJune 23, 2007

It is off to Saturday Market and trying to sell some subscriptions to Tri-City Herald. I hope it goes well. I have a few pictures to add. I should have some other stuff next week as well. I need to get the oil changed in the Expedition and go to Tri Cities early to pick up a baseball scorebook. There is a football game tonight and baseball starts tomorrow.

I set up everything for the market and it went pretty well. I had a lot of newspapers to give away and they went pretty fast. In fact the last few hours I backed off because I was running out of supplies. I found out I should have more application slips and I should have put them in every paper. I bought some cherries and apricots as well as the usual tamales. They bartered rather than pay the eight dollars but I opted to pay ther eight dollars. All of my stuff was worth more than eight dollars. I sold a couple of Michael's pictures as a pair. I bought those leg tie-downs that kept the canopy from blowing away.

I got a letter from Michael and that was nice. He said some good stuff and was apparently in okay shape and sent a picture of his ideal breakfast. I got a letter off to Schimmele along with his blog. I mailed in on the morning route. I went to TriCities early to get a score-book and look for a radio to replace the one I broke at the scale house. I found a good score-book and could not find anything I was interested in as far as a radio went. I met up with Art and we ate at Country Buffet and made it to the game in good time. The game was exciting and I enjoyed it. I ate too much crap on the way home. I went straight to bed.

The Most Positive Memorable Moment was talking to some old guy I think lived out eats of town that insisted on paying for the free newspaper.
