My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Tube Order TuesdayJune 26, 2007

I got a late start it seemed. The coffee pot acted like it had bit the dust. I had to arrange the lawn sprinklers and stop by for the mail. Nothing of importance was in the mail. There should not be all that much going on today since there are no impending orders. I am not sure whether we will be shipping or leave the driving to GFE. I still do not feel overly tired or played out. I need to bring the accounts up to date; get ready for tonight's game; and make out some slips for Saturday Market. I need to alert Doug to service the trailer and order some more paper tubes.

The day was definitely not busy as far as alfalfa business - only two scale tickets and they were for containers. I accomplished quite a bit of catch up work and had time for three sets of exercises and walked the loop. Tom came up and ate all the chocolate in the candy basket. He was not in a particularly good mood and generally bad-mouthed the situation. The latest thing for Joe is that they are going to build a building by the mill as a testing and sample room. They wanted me to handle it but Tom told them he didn't think that would work. HMMM - mixed feelings. I got communication that the TCH would give some more papers for Saturday. I got the tubes but the septic guy did not appear.

I went from work to TriCities and ate at Appleby's - I am not especially thrilled with that place. I always have to sit in the bar and the food is fair but the prices are high. I also gassed the Expedition for my share of the fuel this week. It was expensive. I eyeballed more of the players and there may be some talent there but only time will tell. They were leading into the final innings and lost again 5-2. The starting pitchers have done pretty good but the closers suck so far. There was better defense in the outfield too. Reichert played 1st instead of Weins and did a creditable job. The shining light has to be Crabera who does a good job on infield defense and has been  outstanding with the bat. I think the catcher looks pretty good but he seems to have a little trouble communicating with his pitchers. I left before the 9th was finished and made it to bed before eleven. I still feel pretty good though my left big toe must have some arthritis in it - swollen and sore in the morning but gets better as the day goes on.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment of the day was being recognized by Erik the Peanut Guy - he is a really phenomenal personality.
