The hot pot still works so all is not lost but I still need to get the septic guy on the job. Michelle came by and had very little to contribute - she really acted like she had a feather up her butt. Not a particularly good attitude - sort of hard to put my finger on. Javier is mowing the lawn and I had to call Tom to bring on some more gas. There was a partial load of hay from GFE. I need to get a letter out to Nolan and work on those TCH slips.
It was not my most productive day. There was not that much business and Tom came up and stayed for quite a while. There were no particular revelations and his main concern was signing the pay checks. He stayed through my initial exercvise set and I was able to finish only one for the day and then walked the loop after work when the temperature was 90+ degrees. I got a letter off to Nolan and that was about it. I tried to get some stuff done for Saturday Market but it was actually not that good. We did finished the contract for Abe and that was somthing I guess. Javier also finished mowing the lawn but I don't think the sprinkler system is working that good so the lawn is beginning to dry out again.
I went to the game directly from work. I took a ten minute power nap at Power Line Road and felt better. I ate at the new Cousin at The TRAC. it was okay but I have had better. I noticed one old couple who were upset because their steaks were too raw. I picked up some snacks and sat around watching the warm-ups. I saw the end of the game and we finally won one at 5-1. It was a struggle and I was pretty impressed with Weins who back playing 1st and the batting of Mitchell. My opinion of the infield may develop as well. The pitching was better but there is a lot of room for improvement. I got home after eleven and went straight to bed. My left foot is swollen around the big toe and pretty painful. I think it is arthritis but I am not sure. At least I am putting some arthritic suave on it and sort of helps. I think the main thing is to keep exercising and walking around. To sit around and "baby" it would probably be a mistake.
The Most Memorable Positive Moment was observing the threesome that was one row and a couple seats over from me. One boy had as much metal hanging from him as Pierce in "Zits". |
