I had a few chores around the house so I was about 30 minutes late coming to work and Michelle showed up before I was set up so there is no fudging on the time card for today. I am not sure who she is trying to impress. I got a letter from Bobby and he has given up on the life story writing. He decided it was too big a job for right now. He was appreciative for the book I had sent to him. He wrote some other stuff and I will try to get it on the blog as time permits. I would like to do a better job of exercising today. Steve sent me an email and it was nice to hear from him.
My foot gave me fits all day and I only lasted for one exercise set and since there were containers holding me over I did not walk the loop either. The foot bothered me most of the day and seemed a little worse than the day before. Tom came up and had a few comments but nothing really constructive. He is planning on a hiking trip into Eagle Gap in late July with his scouts. He told me that the lawn was not one of his high priorities so I just let it go. GFE really pushed me on the containers. The contract does not have to be filled until July 10th and they acted like they were going to truck all seven of them today. Jose knew I was pissed in fact I told him so.
Apparently Jeff was working at the main office because he called me several times for some explanations on the summaries that I fax him. I guess there is a struggle between Western Alfalfa and Green Prairie over the cost of starting up the new press. I am not surprised that they are bickering. I headed for the game at five and took a short nap at Coffin Corner and when I woke up I was a little confused because I could not figure out where I was. I grabbed a sandwich at Subway and made the game in plenty of time. I left in the tenth inning tied 1--1. TriCities finally won 2-1 in the eleventh.
The Most Positive Memorable Moment of the day was the guy who came in for some pellets and was expecially friendly. |
