The scalehouse is quiet and that is good since I do not feel all that whippy. I have changed the calendars and playing catch up. It looks like the rabbits have eaten the plants I got at Saturday Market. I need to send Art the football tickets, get a note off to Roger about the latest sales. Finish the entries for Schimmmele and Cuddie. I am going to try some exercises but it is the first of the month and all that jazz.
I was fairly busy but I had only one Laughlin truck. Michelle showed up late and stood around a little while and talked. I did one exercise set and decided not to walk the loop because my foot did not feel all that good. I think it is somewhat better but still tender to walk on. Tom came through and said that they broke the main-shaft on the pellet mill again. Boy it is one fucking thing after another. I paid some bills and sent the notice in for the new subscriber and emailed Ellen a thank you. Nevin complained because I got the paper in the wrong box - hell, confused as ever. Sent the tickets up to Art. Some of the trees are losing their leaves It was fairly hot but I guess it is supposed to get hotter this week end. I finished writing Schimmele's articles and got another letter from him tonight. I tried to keep my eating under control. I skipped lunch and ate a salmon salad an ear of corn and some 9 grain cereal. I hope to go down another pound or so. Of course, having a day off is not going to help.
I watched Running With Scissors. A story about a boy who lived with a dysfunctional mother and was adopted by a crackpot analyst. A rather weird tale and one I would probably not have paid to see in a theater.
The Most Memorable Positive Moment was hearing from Bobby again. |
