Still not a 100% but better I believe. I think my foot is about the same. I need to get the Expedition checked and I need to check with the doctor so I can get more medicine. I will try to finish the letters to Nolan and Joel and possibly get an answer off to Michael. I am not sure whether we will be working on the next order.
The day was fairly busy with both pellets trucks and a container or two and they were hauling in alfalfa from Cleaver Farms. It was hot again and I did not get much exercising done. The cold is pretty severe and I am on the edge of being miserable but probably better than yesterday. Somehow the big toe and ankle do not seem to be healing very much. They remain sore and tender and I walk around limping which bugs me. Michelle came in late and I mentioned the deal about working on Friday and she did not seem to be too concerned. I guess that Joe has been telling her that she needs more help and should not be taking vacations. It does not go over very well. Tom was up and stayed quite a while. I gave him my plan on Friday and he said he would tell me ahead time so that I could make sure that it did not cause Larue any problems.
I finished the letter to Nolan and got one off to Joel with Schimmele blog and one to Michael that pretty well answered his latest one. I mailed them with the newspaper route. I went to the game and we won 3-2 but I left in the 9th. It went 11 innings. I talked to the insurance company and since the car was apparently in the alleyway when I backed up I was liable. An appraiser still has to take some pictures of my back left corner to see if I did hit them. I am pretty sure there is a mark there. I am not sure what this is going to do to my premiums or whether I have to go to driving school or whatever. A real pain in the ass - but the whole thing was a travesty from forgetting my wallet to not parking so I could drive forward.
The Most Positive Memorable Moment of the Day was a couple of guys sitting near me at the baseball game. |
