My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Soaring SundayJuly 15, 2007

The newspaper guy is getting on a route this morning. Good news! I feel fairly rested and the ailments are somewhat abated. I need to get some stuff written up Schimmele and Cuddie. It would be nice have the financial out of the way as well. I guess some shopping though I sort of expect to go to the ball games. I am going to try to set up a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and go to the game afterwards. I hope I don't get too exhausted again. It looks like it is going to be warm again but maybe not roasting. I need to get the rent paid today if those folks have any money left over.

The other apricot tree is full of fruit but it sure does not taste all that good. It was a slow day. I got a few things done like clean the carpet, set the cars up and the usual washings. I took the paper car for gas and stopped at Grannys it was too crowded so I left. I got the gas and left NYT and swung by The Stockman. I order the special. It was gone. I ordered chicken fried steak and waited 30 minutes paid for my ice tea and left. I stopped at El Cazadore and ordered a pork carnitas that was burned and loaded with fat. I drank a beer - it did not help. I came home and took a two hour nap. I woke up and my gut was in such an uproar I thought I wads going to puke. Fuck! I have more pains these days than one man should have to endure. I wonder if Bub went through the same throes. It finally calmed down and I watched Fun Down There about a farm kid from upstate New York who went to the city because he was so uncomfortable as a gay in a small town. Got a job In a restaurant and moved in with a guy. Not a solid story nor were the people attractive. A sort of what you would expect a b-rate gay film would be like. I finished the rough draft of the Schimmele contribution.

THe  Most Positive Memorable Moment of the day was a couple who were friendly and nice to me in the WalMart check out line.
