There was a Laughlin truck waiting by the scales. That always sets a bad precedence for the day. I never seem to get organized for the day. It really dioes not make that much difference except my routine is broken and it makes me uncomfortable. I should have a few containers and maybe they will bring in some hay. I plan to go to the ball game this evening and I need some more gas before I head home tonight. I hope to finish the Schimmele blog and get going on Cuddie's.
It was a fairly busy day with a few customers and some hay being hauled in. There were no real surprises. Michelle never mentioned the screw up to me except I called her to make sure that the numbers and customer matched. Tom was as non-commital as possible. He talked some about the scouts he is preparing for the camping trip. That is his big thing for the summer.
I finished the Schimmele blog and got started on editting Cuddies. Still some work. I got a late start to the ball game and ate at Subway again. I had to get some gas. Wes had called me but I was never able to talk to him. I imagined that he wanted to know about the fishing trip. I am really not interested. I won some package at the ball game and I did not even know I had won which sort of disconcerted the girl giving me the gift. Finally she said well I'll just leave it right here and walked off. The people around me could not believe I was so into the game I did not realize what had happened.
The Most Positive Memorable Moment would have been winning the bag of prizes I guess. |
