My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Still SaturdayJuly 21, 2007

I need to get to Saturday Market and get things set up. I don't want the lady with the mobile home to shove me out.

I showed up and got a spot and set things in order. No one helped with the canopy and I was able to get it up. I gave out about ten surveys and the usual magazine and pen. There was fair traffic at about ten oclock a black women and a couple of kids started peddling EO papers on the concourse. I gave them a pen and some candy. They finally left and "hot shorts" came by and mentioned the competition. She said I was on a fine line of not being a farm product - like 95% of the stuff was. Anyway the more I thought about it the more concerned I became. When she came back she asked if I would be there next Saturday and I said it depended and she wanted to know if I was going to be down on Main Street. I told her a possibility. Then we got into a discussion of some of her vendors and she could tell I was upset. I unloaded the Expedition and intend to spend my Saturdays doing something else. I figure I wont go back until she has her  operation - her cranium extracted from her rectum. Hmmmmmm. Oh well, it was beginning to get old and I had not sold anything for a couple of weeks.

I headed out to TriCities at around four and ate at the Mongolian Place and it is pretty much a disaster as the Mexicans are doing a lousy job. I was offered no rice or soup. The there was no fruit available when I was ready for dessert. Anyway I complained and left and probably will not go back for a while. I went to Pasco and waited until six and called the KPD. I left a message and waited until six thirty and went to the game. We lost again 7-4 and that should end the series. There was a call from the KPD at about seven fifteen and to cal back. I will definitely try to get this settled this evening if he is working.

I got letters from Michael, Joel and another from Bobby. I thought Mike's was pretty good but I noticed in the paper that there was a suicide at SRCI in the IMU which they categorized as holding many insane. That sent a little chill with Michael since I had a couple of times when I thought there might be more of a problem than I am initially seeing. I just have to let it play out and stay on defense.

The Most Positive Memorable Moment has to have been the letter from Michael.
