My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Tuesday-Doctor VisitJuly 24, 2007

It looks like a bright and sunny day. It should be hot again. Tom will be leaving at 10 AM and it is doubtful that Michelle will be by. Rick came by and we chatted a minute. He said he had two rules that made it possible to get along with Marty, his wife. Rule # 1 Marty is always right. Rule #2 Even if Marty is wrong make her think she is right. He claims it makes his life easier. I suspect he pouts a lot:) I have a doctor's appointment after work to get a new supply of drugs.

It was a slow day. I had an organic truck and another for AF CO. Tom was up and talked quite a while. I think he was trying to psyche himself up for the camping trip. It will be fine but I am sure there is a worry getting under way. Michelle and Hannah were by for the sugar fix. Not much there mostly treat and then hardly a good-bye. The appraiser finally came around and took a picture of the Expedition. I got my insurance notice and it has gone up between $25-$30 a month. That is a real pain in the ass. I got the finish on Schimmele's blog and sent off the first installment and started work on the next one. It was hot again today and I tried to do an exercise set and stumbled and really stirred up my toe. It is all swollen again and painful.

I kept the doctor's appointment and my blood pressure was lower than it had ever been. He looked at my toe and said it was gout and gave me some medicine to take the swelling down. He said I should take Tylenol for the pain.. I think I can feel it subsiding a little bit. I have to take the gout medicine for two weeks. I showed him the over the counter stuff and he did not say anything - yes or no. They took a blood sample after three tries. I was surprised that Virginia was not better at hitting an artery.

I watched part of The Five People You Meet In Heaven. It looks okay but I am still sort of nursing my pain and pretty easily distracted.

The Most Positive Memorable Moment was the exchange with Rick again. He is a pretty positive guy I guess.
