My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Wednesday-WelcomeAugust 1, 2007

I got up and showered about six thirty and while I was shaving Janet called and wanted me to call her when Michael got out. I tried to shut her down but for what reason. She is scarry I think and I hope she keeps the hell away from him. I think he has her number pretty good.

I left the motel at about seven ten and went over to the duck pond to wait until seven forty-five. Idrove into the parking lot and walked up to the front entrance. I spotted Mike's Mom and sisters and introduced myself. I met everyone who was there and that was the two sisters, brother, wife and two kids, and the sisters' kids plus Mikey was there. I could not have been more pleased. Perfect. He is really a cute kid that I could love to pieces.  We waitred about twenty minutes and a lot of sighing. Finally he appeared and I will never forget the sight of that thin unshaven guy with two clear plastic sacks of belongings. He looked absolutely amazed but began huigging people. I just sat there and waited untl he had sort of worked his way through the crowd. Finally he walked over to his kid and they hugged and I could have cried I was so touched. We started out to the parking lot and MIkey told his Dad he had to pee. Pretty much typical. It had been decided that we were going to Carl Jr and have a breakfast burrito down at Carosel Park. So I followed the one sister and ended up at the cafe and eventually Mike and his brother showed up. We stood around a lot and talked took some pictures etc. Got our order and went on to the park and more pictures and watching the kids play and talking to some of the family. Then on to the Sprint store where Mike made his selection of phones that was spendy enough and we have a plan that should more than take care of us.

He sort of let me know that they were going to buy some clothes and then be heading out for Grants Pass. I gave them both a hug and decided to leave and it was about eleven fifteen I think. I had passed the $100.00 to him and he seemed appreciative. I made a restroom stop and then left. I thought the whole way home about the day which was so special. I forgot to give him the basketball. I really felt a little empty because we did not have a definite date to get together again. I would like to do it some time in August. Grants Pass is a long ways away but I would make the trip at least once. I had some trouble getting money uploaded to his card and called him. He was search for the PO's house because he had a wrong number. He called me later and we will try to get the card set up.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment was seeing Mike and his kid. What a sight!
