| My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later. |

I began working on the TCH accounts and got quite a bit of things buttoned up before eleven o'clock and then I headed out to Old Freewater. I ate lunch and too much at El MIrado and stopped to have a conversation with Jo. She had not sold anything and the leopard picture was sloppy so I brought it home. I don't think she likes it so why waste time on it. I may fix it I am not sure. I asked about some of Bobby's work and she agreed to look at some of it. I headed home and the natural food store was closed I guess because it was Saturday. Came home by Bellingers and picked up a cantaloupe, melon and some blue berries. Finished shopping at Safeway and came on home and worked on getting collection ready. Of course, the big thing was talking to Mike a little after ten. He was just home from biking to the store with Mikey. He said he got his social security card and some other things. He had charged something on the a card so that works. He said he had taken Mikey to the YMCA last night and he had been really afraid of water and he worked with him a little bit and he was putting his face in the water and holding his breath. His relatives could not believe he had taken to the water so quickly. He said he would have him swimming by the time he went back. I mentioned that could be a screaming scene so he needed to do some thinking about that. He said that Mikey's mother's mother had wanted the custody to be shifted to him. He said he had seen Mikey's mother and her boyfriend who was an idiot. He said he walked over to them and introduced himself and said he did not want any trouble he was friends with everyone and that the guy need not have any worries about him. He said that a cousin had a Camero for $500 and he could make monthly payments on it. Hmm - but he needs a license and a job. I asked him what his family thought of me and he said they thought I was awesome - I guess as long as my money holds out. He said that his mother was the person who had sent the pictures to me. I reminded him that I had known him three years and had not spent over two and half hours with him. I let him know I thought it was unreal and he agreed. He said we would work something out. I told him I was open to anything except the 25th and 26 of August. He seems pretty happy. When I mentioned I was swamped with blog material he said oh yeah I was going to help you with that. He doesn't know how to type but he would learn. I guess so I watched A Forgotten Soldier that was pretty good. It was about a Canadian soldier in The Netherlands during World War II who befriended a sort of orphan boy on a farm. It seemed like a simple innocent rather sweet story. The soldier left without saying good-bye and the boy became a ballet teacher and he got the box with the picture and the dark glasses during a rehearsal. The Most Memorable Positive Moment was the conversation with Michael. They are good but I can see that I could get hooked and end up with a broken heart pretty easily. So beware and do not expect too much but keep thinking we could all be living very close together and it would be great. I would never have to rattle around alone again. I heard nothing from the McClatchy's - either Wes or Nolan - but this is the beginning of the month and there is a long line for a phone. | ||
