I talked to Larue and the woman will do my route this weekend and may take it after that. I need to do my collecting next week and be ready to shut down on the 31st. I have been thinking about the trip to Grants Pass and what I need to take maybe some produce. I have thought about the car and I will need to get some things done to it - like a windshield and thoroughly cleaned out. It will probably be all right. I am sure I will have a definite opinion after I have spent some time around those people.

Michelle has been by and a couple loads of timothy and a container trying to get out. I am not sure what we are going to do after the present contract. There were a few containers and loads of hay so I was pretty busy most of the day. I got a letter off to Nolan and Schimmele. I have not heard from Michael but I'll give him a call before the game tonight if he doesn't call me. Tom was up and wasted some time I am not sure what is on his mind these days. I guess he is getting ready for Jason to return home. Jon, the truck driver, saved me from a mess up today. I did not thank him a lot but I let him know it was good. He is sort of one weird duck. I didn't get any exercise today and probably will head for TriCities as soon as it hits four thirty.

Nolan called before I got out the door. He said he had received the Canadian book but that my map was in the wrong part of Canada. He was looking at a spot further north and east. He thought the name was McMurray. I will try to find it and send it off to him.

I ate an IHOP and called Mike and got his voice mail. He called back immediately and said he was in the bathroom. He said he had not been doing much all day again. The big news was that he was thinking of moving to Portland and he wanted top know what I thought about it. Naturally it would be much closer and we might be able to see one another quite often. I was thrilled and told him so but also pointed out that it was for selfish reasons. I guess they would move in with Kate's mother until they got their own place. Mikey would go back to his regular school. The hang up would be whether the PO would go along with the plan. I would think so but it would be a matter of transfering to a Portland PO shich might not be that easy. He was going to check it out Thursday. I also encouraged him to get his glasses. He said he would do about anything I thought was best for him - Yeah I'll bet. He said that Janice had been really bugging him so he thought he had permanently backed her off which is probably a good thing.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment was hearing what Michael had to say about moving to Portland. He really knows how to play me by bringing up Mikey and that Kate is in favor of my acting as Mikey's great grandfather. I would like to spoil the little shit. We'll see.
