Having It My Weigh Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

I drove to Topaz to work and will drop it off at Schwabs after work. I hope that Michael calls me with the name of the PO. I guess it is up  to him. I would really feel better if he was driving the car but then I'll do whatever happens.I should have some containers early and then it is anyone's guess. I hope to find those photos and get a lettter off to Nolan.

Mikey is getting ready to take a dip in the Redwood Motel pool in Grants Pass on 9-01-07.

I need to send some email to Michelle. I was pretty busy all day with containers. We finally had five altogether  and it looks like more tomorrow. Michael called me early and said he was walking to get a job. I guess he has an appointment tomorrow at ten and they will make him some sort of offer. I got the woman at the lawyers' office and gave her the collection agency's number and then Michael's number so they could talk together. He was finally able to negotiate with the Agency to put down $100 and make $50 a month payments. It will take a while but he will be able to do it. He said that he would get up at three oclock and walk to work if necessary. It will take nearly $400 to get his license and that is not sure since those people do not act instanteniously. We will have to see how it goes. I will be taking the Topaz in for the brakes and a new windsheilkd tomorrow and then send him some money I guess.

I talked to Mikey and he said he had a good day at school. They had a party and he did okay. He did not like the bus ride however. Joel called and talked up a storm. I guess he is doing okay and I told him I would put some money in his account. He seemed appreciative. The big thing is that I found the pictures of Schimmele. That was really beginning to bug me. I got a letter off to Nolan and told about the Grants Pass trip. I guess he needs to get used to it. He will just have to work around whatever i have planned I guess.

The next thing will be getting Michael and the car together. I am not exactly sure how that is going to work - whether they come up and stay all night or we make the whole thing in a single day which would sort of suck as far as I am concerned. I would think they might like to get out of the house for a little rest as well. I guess a lot depends upon what sort of job Michael is going to get. It is going to be important that he starts liiving on a budget and working around their needs. I hope he understands that I have to be paid back somehow some way. Anyway things are definitely looking up this afternoon.

I got the Topaz to Schwabs and made arrangements to have the windshield put in and then have the Expedition have its shocks fixed. I picked up the mail and made a deposit. I swung by Rite Aid and got the $450.00 for Michael and he should be able to get his license and be set to drive by the first of the week. I don't know how that is going to affect his job and work. He will have to work around it I guess. I rode with Shockman out here and he recollected the party with Nolan. He is a good guy and wanted me to give his greeting to Nolan.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment was hearing from Mikey about how the school day went. He liked it fine - they had a party and the only thing he disliked was the bus ride. I am sure that his dad insisted that he make the call. I told Mike he needed to remember that the night I call up whining about the cops taking my keys. He is supposed to say "That is all right, Grandpa, where do you want to go?" He said that would be the time I moved to Portland or he moved to Hermiston :)
