| My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later. |

I was up early and found the bank. I got a gas card and some coffee and gassed up the Expeditiion. I went back to the Motel and finally got on the Internet and was writing on my diary when Mikey came over and said he had had breakfast. Pretty soon Michael showed up and we talked a little bit and then started making some movements to start the trip. We left about ten thirty and drove to The Dalles and had lunch at Cousins. I think they were impressed with the food - at least they kept saying so. Mikey did not like his PB&J sandwich but drank the orange juice. He seems to go around with his Mom quite a bit. Michael said that when he gets stirred up he can cuss up a blue streak. My good friend. We seem to agree on so many things it is almost frightening. I have my heart set on him turning into a great success - He deserves so many good things after living through so much crap.
We came back into Hermiston and they looked the car over and seemed over all pleased. I urged Michael to take it down the driveway and back. He seemed to be fine. They looked the house over and loaded the stuff in their car and pretty much took off. Mikey called out he loved me and waved good bye. Michael was talking as though he would check a junk yard for a windshield. and try to put it in. He said we would get together soon but not exactly when. I really felt desolate. I seem to be forever in that situation where I am always separated from the people I like the most. We'll have to check out the phone call when they get to Portland. I gave Michael $20.00 and the $50.00 gas card. I talked to Wes and there was nothing especially new with him . Mandi has started the second grade in Hermiston. I guess that Deanna takes her in every morning at eight thirty. He says he has not been fishing that much. We discussed Nolan but he did not seem to care all that much either. I asked about Tom's son MIchael but I guess he is not going by Lewis. There was not a lot of information or particular interest either. I told him I quit the paper route and he thought it was a good idea. Michael called at about six forty five and they had gone down the gorge hitting 90 at one time. He said the trip took about two and a half hours. They were washing the car and said that it looked like new and that the cracked windshield was not that big a deal. He seemed pretty thrilled about the whole thing. I hope they can keep it running for a while. He was wondering about insurance. I told him I was just loaning it to him and that it would remain in my name and I wouild carry the insurance for now. He is suppose to get his ID card tomorrow and should havve a social security card tomorrow as well. He will sign up for the diversion classes that take about a week and then he should be able to get his OD license. He said we would plan something for the near future. I need to have enough cash to support something - maybe I will get something out the Bank of America. I need to start paying down the US Visa card`as soon as possible. The Most Memorable Positive Moment was the more or less agreement that we had a lot of the same spiritual thoughts - all three of us apparently. We both agreed that indeed Mikey was an old soul with old soul eyes. | ||
