Having It My Weigh Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Monday Momentary DelaySeptember 10, 2007

A new week and a new beginning I guess. I am anxious to see if Michael gets his act lined up. It will be interesting if he gets around to calling me. I hope the car works out okay. I got an increase on MNBA which will take some of the pressure off. The phone bill is higher than I expected. Hopefully it is going to settle down in the next month or so. We have been adding a lot of things that could have been passed over. I will try to work on some of the things for Cuddie and Schimmele. I am not sure what work will look like.

There is my buddy - hopefully he will grow fonder. We hang out together pretty well. I need to find him a deal that would help on reading.

I need to organize my pictures and get them in some sort of order and get them off the computer. Not much so far at work. I did a little cleaning - forgot the newspaper - that sucks.

Michael called at mid-afternoon and said that the card did not show. He called his mother and it went out prioirity mail. I told him to call the post office and they told him that it takes two or three days which is about the same as regular first class - what a rip off. I asked him if he ate the Casaba and he said it was too dark because Annie had gone to bed since she gets up at four thirty and goes to bed early. He said Mike hit the hay early last night as well. He wanted to call the Post Office so we ended the conversation. At least he is treating me normally and not giving any special preference and that is good I guess. I am sure that he will keep in touch. He said that he had met Mikey's teacher and the principal and they all knew him. I wanted to ask him about a DVD player but did not know how to bring it up casually. Not much excitement around here - very few customers. I tried the corn for lunch and it was not bad. i got a letter and the book order off to Cuddie. I am going to have to cut back on these dudes. I am putting Schimmele's all in one article rather than breaking it up daily. He wrote that he was writing pieces on the dark side because he thought readers liked that. Well, I know one and an editor that is not all that impressed. In fact I hate editing that crap.

I walked the scales and walked the loop after work. I might have ate a little more than usual - I am not sure. I put together all the TriCity Herald crap so I can take it  to Larue tomorrow. I will try to close out that stuff and get a payment out to GESA. Nothing more from Michael. I am thinking that it will be a while before I see them again especially if he gets a job and gets some money. However, he will have to wait until payday so I will probably be hearing from him.

I watched part of Dreamkeeper an Indian story about the keeping of tribal stories. It was all right but long and lost my interest - so I will finish it tomorrow.

The Most Memorable Positive Moment was talking to Michael but I think I turned him off by talking too much. I should watch more carefully what I say and not embarrass him or make him disgusted. Oh well, I still feel lonely and rather down in the dumps.
