Having It My Weigh Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Man, I sure hope that Michael gets his card today and can land some kind of job. I guess I'll try and find something to do this weekend so we can hang out together. There is a circus in TriCities and there should be something to see or do in Portland. I would like to get Mikey a DVD player for some reading games. I lost this entry once this morning - that is a pain in the butt. They need to get that light fixed on the car too. I have some more money to give them - a transfusion if they need it. Michael seems to be drinking quite a few beers. They are sick a lot it seems to me.

Michael and Kate in the motel pool area in Salem 9-8-07. He plays a lot of solitaire on his phone I guess. I think he messages a lot of relatives as well.

There is not a lot going on today - a couple of containers and it looks like GFE is going to bring in some hay for a booking. I have been casting about trying to find something to do with Michael this weekend - so far I have drawn a blank. The circus is a couple of weeks away and the hockey is not that great. I guess could go fishing somewhere - hiking - movie.

Michael called and said he had left a message with the PO about checking in; the the guy told him to stay put and not sweat the SS card and ID. He said they were going to look for a windshield and stop and get a headlight. They wanted to be back by twelve because that was when the mail would show up. He said we could figure out something for the weekend. Fishing was sort of out because he only had a license for one day because of the ID issue. He said he would call back later on this afternoon.

Another call from Michael when he went to the junk yard and found a windshield for $50.00 and a guy would put it in for $100.00. That is a $150.00 I am not anxious to spend but what can I say? I told them to have it done and I would pay for it. They are going after the headlight now I guess.

I called Michael when I was at the PO and he had gotten his SS card but the Temp place was closed so he was hitting it tomorrow. I guess we will see how work brittle he is now. I asked him about the money and he said that Kate could get the windshield and pay for it and take it to the place to get the new one put in. I was surprised she was handling his card and I mentioned it and he said good point but he could let her have it and then change the password. I let him know that I was not comcfortable with her handling the money. He took it all right. I will see what happens tomorrow and if he gets a job right away and is working - I'll just have to see. I got some gas and picked up the money and came home.

I had a severe gut ache after supper. I think it is eating that raw cabbage and the pretty much veggie diet that might have a little bit too much fiber. I was thinking of checking out Hood River and the railroad ride for the weekend.

The Most Memorable Positive Momernt was talking to Michael. I will sure be glad when I don't have to prop him up quite so much.
