I hope that I hear from Michael today. I expect he has been pretty upset that his phone is missing. I am pretty sure if he had it by now he would have called. I intend to call the Motel around seven fifteen because I would think he would be up to get Mikey ready. He sometimes really has shitty luck.

I tried calling the Motel without success. Before I could hang up Mike was calling me and he said he was just waking up. He said that he had left the phone in the car and the guy was slow in coming back. He had the phone when he texted me but the battery was low. He said that Kate had left town and he was hoping that he could have Mikey come stay with him for the night. He was going to give it a shot. He said the romance with Lizzy was definitely still on. He goes around with his heart on his sleeve. I swear. He said a guy might have a job for him painting. Nothing new on the apartment scene yet. He said he had bought food but it was cheap and should last. He will need to do something else with Mikey around that is for sure. Oh well, so good to hear from him. He said he went to bed at seven last night - someone had loaned him a computer game. I believe what I want to believe - if he is stringing me he does a good job.

I called after work but no one answered and I left a voice message. I called again at the post office but I hung up before the voice message came on. After supper he gave me a call and said that he and Mikey were just walking arouind. He said they had been over to a friend's house to get a hair cut but the guy was not there. Later he called but could not cut his hair tonight. He said that he had to kiss ass to get Mikey and that Annie was on a big power trip. He said he just played along. When he asked her to keep the same address she said she could not do that so he is going to call his PO and report the new address. He said it was hard doing things on his own and that he was having a hard time eating. We talked about the new digs might have room for a frig and micro wave and certainly a coffee pot. Obviously he was out of money so I sent another $80 that should last him until the weekend and then we will do something else. He is going to talk to the manager about getting one of the cheaper places. He said there were plenty of cops around and that he thought he might have seen two hookers - crap, I had seen at least that many at Motel 6. I guess they were at the a park and Mikey was on the merry-go-round. He had to take a crap so they were headed toward a restroom. I guess he works again on Thursday for a four hour deal. He is not going to have much of a paycheck but it will be something. There has not been a lot of movement on the apartment front but at least he is having a less stressful week.

I had an email from Mary Ellen. She is in school and working full time so she is busy. It was good hearing from her. I watched part of Inconvenient Truth with Al Gore - not bad.
