| My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later. |

I hope that Mikey and Michael had a good evening. Somehow he has to learn how to budget his money on food . He will need a coat and I should check that out this weekend. I think I will go Saturday but I am not sure. Michael needs to realize that the person that has the real power in that family squabble is really Mikey. I have seen how he handles both his Mom and Grandmother. Michael just needs to make sure that he has Mikey in his corner. That is putting a lot of pressure on Mikey but it is probably the truth. I am not sure what work looks like. They will probably be hauling in hay all day. I need to finish Joel's deal and get some money lined up for him. Michael called about nine oclock and said he was sick to his stomach. He said there was one diollar left in his account and he had no idea what happened to about $50.00. He said he bought ten dollars worth of gas and some chips and had about ten dollars. When I quizzed him about leaving his card he said he had taken a shower and his friend and girl friend was in his room. He did not think they would do it but it was suspicious. I asked him if Mikey stayed all night and he said no that he had to take him back by eight oclock. I asked him how Mikey felt about that and he said he wanted to stay with him. I told him not to worry becasue I had seen Mikey handling his grandmother and generally got whatever he wanted. He giggled at that. He said he would go check on a computer at the library and see if he could determine where the money had been spent. I called him about noon and he was just finishing a shower. I am not sure what he had been doing. He said he was headed to the library and would give me a call when he found out something. So far I have heard nothing. I guess it is a good lesson that the card is just like money and people will grab it and as long as no one asks for ID it can be charged with no trouble. If he was sharing the pin number with other people I guess he should expect it to be taken. I would not think that Kate would take it but then who knows. I feel a little upset because my finances are dwindling and he appears to be socializing at my expense. I intend to send him some more tonight but he has to know that he has to take care of it and that mainly I expected him to eat on it and not use for something that was not absolutely necessary. I feel lkike giving him a lecture but I will probably save it until later. I called Michael and he was helping someone move. He called me back and said that he had tried to talk to Mikey and he was calling him back when Annie said he couldn't talk that he was in big trouble over his chores. Michael almost became ballistic he was so upset. I guess he calmed down some. I went to town got some gas and paper and went by and sent him $60.00. I suggested that he put it in his shoe as cash. Man, I cannot believe he would let his friends steal it from him. Apparently there were several purchases but he does not know where or what they bought. I asked him what he was going to do tonight and he said watch TV. I told him about his appearance that it was probably doing him a disservice. He said that he was going to look at an apartment tomorrow. I suggested that he meet Mikey at the bus stop and walk him home. He had to go along with Annie at the moment. He needs to go to Family Services and see if he is indeed on the birth certificate. He cannot guess or think he has to know. He needs to go slowly but he should have control of Mikey if he plays his cards right and without a big battle. The drama goes on. Is it such a big part of his life he knows nothing else. He just works four hours again tomorrow. Man, I wish he would get a real shift. He has been off two days and I don't think he has made that much progress. He said he might be able to work out something with the guy who runs the Motel. I watched the rest of An Inconvenient Truth. It actually was pretty good and a lot of it made pretty good sense. The Most Memorable Positive Moment was letting him know it was okay and not to sweat it. | ||
