Sort of a different atttitude has set in. I seem to be less emotionally involved. I am running out of money and none seems to be popping up anywhere. I guess I get the feeling that Michael is just doiing those things that are handy and convenient and not necessarily the things that are unpleasant but do need doing. This is going to be the end of the month and I should have some money coming out of petty cash but probably not enough to get all the MO's I need to sent out. I do get paid next Wednesday and that should get things in prospective. I may just drive to Portland and come back in one day. It sort of depends upon when Michael is working.

I put a call into Michael about ten AM and got his voice mail. I have heard nothing since. He could be working. it is hard to tell whether he has his phone off or he is ignoring the call. I would assume that the phone is off. I will try again tonight if I don't hear from him. His lack of communication could be an indication that a short visit would be in order.

Michael called about three thirty and said that he did not have any work hours today. He was not on the schedule. It sort of sucks. I guess he got a lot of hours yesterday. He said that the open house went great and he was very proud of Mikey. He is known by everyone and was doing awesomely according to the principal. He said Annie even drove the car so there seems to be peace in the valley again. I asked him about coming down there and he said he did not get to spend enough time with me which sure and hell were the right words to say that is for sure. I mentioned the phone and we were about to run out of minutes because we had five more days before the end of the billing. Some of those minutes are probably incoming calls rather than making calls so we might want to work on the incoming call plan. Anyway it was a good call and I need to get some things done this evening like getting money and a new new Visa card for him.

I got Michael another card and then realized it wuld be a week before he got the actual card. Maybe he will be able to transfer the money to his Mastercard. Damn. Anyway it should work out all right one way or another. I watched the Secret Life of Words and it was very good - about a refgee nurse who took care of a guy with burns on an oil rig in the middle of the ocean. I watched it without falling asleep. The Most Memorable Positive Moment was Michael saying he  did not spend enough time around me. What a guy! I hope he is telling the truth. Somehow I have to cool down the Tanning business.
