| My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later. |

I slept fitfully and woke up to a rain storm I will have to drive through it going home. I am waiting for Michael to wake up and call me. I will plan to get him some groceries and some money that he can use as cash until the other is available. I will play the departure as it comes up. He did call me about ten ten to make sure I had made it back to the motel. He was still fucking around that place. I could not believe it. My question is why did he have to wait until nearly midnight to move his shit when it could have been moved in the daylight. I left the Motel around eighty thirty and headed down Sandy but got off the trail and ended up in Hollywood Heights and had to get back pn I5 before I could find 39th Avenue. When I got to the Executive Lodge I called Michael and got his voice mail. The car was not there so I banged on the door for a while and he finally came to the door. I guess he got left down town and had try to walk to the Motel and had a hell of a hard time finding it. We went to the Unicorn and hisBuddy(?) Frankie was sleeping in his troom. He agreed to drive the car to the new motel. We grabbed his shit and left. We stashed it in his room and took Frankie to some friend's house not too far from Annie's. We picked up Mikey to take him to breakfast and Kate was due to return by twelve and Michael had plugged in his phone and preceeded to spend most his time IM-ing her. Sort of ignoring us. He corrected Mikey and I openned my fucking mouth and said he was just playing a game. Michael gave me a look I will never forget. I could have ripped my fucking tongue out. Breakfast was not a happy meal. The look in both their eyes broke my heart. Fuck - I have been beating myself up ever since. Kate returned at twelve and we soon got Mikey back to Annie's. I apologized several time and he said "oh I am used to it Annie and Kate do it to me all the time". Another death for me. We went by Safeway and got some groceries for him and stashed them in his room. Frankie had stuck the car key in his pocket so I took Michael back to the friend's house. He said he would go to work from there. I had little choice but to leave - barely shaking left hands. The phone bill came up and Kate said ask Gramps not to cut it off - I'll get some money and pay him. Michael said that Annie took off on it saying that was the major way of keeping track of Mikey. Nice way to use Mikey. Michael said that he would turn I could tutn off his phone rather than run up a big bill for me. I told him I would never do that because I would lose all contact with him. Nolan called at the pancake house and said he was in the pre-release program and would have to stay in some facility for a while until he got his bracelet and then he would have to pay like $300 per month for the program and $350/monthly for the bracelet. He thought he could get on wtih Marlette. He said at the earliest opportunity he was leaving for Canada and he thought the information I sent him was not particularely necessary. Art called checking into my status - Ellen sent some instant messages. At The Dalles I left a voice messgae for Michael telling what a great parent I thought he was. After I got home I sent him one about moving to Hermiston and we could share an apartment and have the camper as a safety valve. He could get a good job and visit MIkey every weekend if not more and maybe get him during the holidays, etc. Michael called at nine and apparently his friend had given him a ride back to the Motel. We had a twenty minute conversation and it was all positive. He said he had called Mikey and told him good night and Katie was sleeping as well. I guess I was the last on his agenda. I told him he always had a place in Herrmiston and that I was looking forward to seeing him. The Most Positive Memorable Moment was that conversation with him. | ||
