The phone rang at 1234 but it apparently was a wrong number. I hope to hear from Michael at 5 AM. I hope the job went okay. I need to make some decisions about tomorrow. The finances continue to bug me - I am really feel tired this morning.
I called at six fifteen and his mail box was full so I left a voice message and he called me within a few minutes. He said that he had been on his feet all night and that it was slave labor but he would do about anything to get ten bucks an hour. He said that he could work about every day if he wanted to. He will be working from seven until three in the afternoon on Saturday. I needed to work out some sort of plan so that I can pay for the motel room and still see him when he gets off work. He seemed a little vague about his finances. He should be getting some more cash on his card today plus he should get some money from working at the station. He said that he had popped the key in the Topaz ignition but he can get the car to run. He said not to worry about it that he would get it fixed - I'll bet. He said he was tired and would go home to rest and then he wont work tonight but tomorrow during the day. He said he would be running around at bars all night. He said that Frankie had stayed a couple of nights at the motel room. He completely trusts Frankie and that is okay I guess. I probably am never going to like his friends much. I need to try to get Annie's phone number so maybe I can go by and see Mikey and maybe pick him up to see his dad. No use to make those plans however.
What can I say He was kicked out of the Motel for letting Frankie use his room. Or else Frankie broke in and the manager kicked him out. I sent him some money to stay at Motel 6. He promised to call me before he went to sleep and call me when he got on the bus to go to work. He sounded rested when I talked to him. I am not sure who was driving the car. That was one big mistake I guess. He has ruined the ignition and I have talked to Kate about moving the car back to Hermiston. He uses that as a way of getting around and it is probably going to turn into something bad.
I plan on going tomorrow and having some kind of show-down. My investment is probably down the damned drain. |
