I have to get back to work and try to adjust my thinking. I texted Katie and she replied with a thanks. I think they are a little bent on the car but I really cannot just let them have it I guess. Michael seemed to be against that.

I did not talk about anything at work. I shut Tom down when I told him that I could not talk about Mikey without crying. A very stilted conversation. Several of the Cushman clan emailed with their appreciation as did Annie. I talked to Flash late in the afternoon and I had the feeling he was mostly bullshit. He said that Michael had only been using four days at the most. He placed the blame on Katie saying she was using Mikey as a way of getting at Michael - which was true. He said he fed him and got the job for him. He was vague about the quitting and did not mention the paycheck - though Michael's mom wanted me to have it - I will send it off to Mikey.

The cousin called in the PM and said there was going to be a viewing on Saturday at 2 PM. Rosa, the neice, called and said her grandmother had been crying all day that she thought the viewing was disrespectful of  Michael and that Tonya was going to take some picture of the family around Michael. The more this goes on the more bizarre it becomes. Some how I feel in the middle but it does not bother me that much. Little wonder Michael was so messed up.

I am going to ask if I can call Mikey regularly in the evening - of course, I do not want them using him to get at me - so I need to be careful.
