I will work on the Michael final paycheck. I will go ahead and tell his mom that I will come to GP for Thanksgiving if there is a chance that Mikey can come with me. I can agree to take Annie to Myrtle Creek and then go on to GP. I will see how that flies. I have a call into Wes and he never did return my call. I am not sure what his problem is
I made some payment on credit cards. Payday is on Wednesday and the renter should be paying I hope in cash. Of course, I don’t want to chase him out because I sure in hell need that money. Have to decide on the car – I wish I could get the SB started. It sort of sounds like the starter is stuck.
I sent off an email to Michael’s mom and I guess she is set up to get his check. She would like to have me bring Mikey to GP for the holidays. I am not sure how that is going to happen. She would welcome me I am sure but I am not sure I want to make that trip and have that expense. Plus I am not sure that I want to spend that much time with Annie. She is so weird.
I talked to Wes after Nolan called. He was working on a carport in Pendleton and said he had enough work for five weeks out and thought that he would have no trouble getting work and staying busy during the winter. He said some other guy was sort of lining up the jobs for him.
I made a call to Annie and no one answered. In about ten minutes Mikey called and he sounded much better. He said he was all ready to go back to school. He said it rained there today and he stayed inside. I asked him if he still had his DVD player and he said he had lost the cord and the battery was run down. I looked in the box in the car and it was not in there. I guess he could have left it at GP. If not I’ll get him another one the next time I am around a BestBuy or some other type store. Maybe I can get the model number from him and get one on the Internet and have it sent to him. Somehow I am going to have to get around to asking him about going to GP with me at Thanksgiving and Christmas. |
