Mikey called me at about nine fifteen. He was on his mother’s phone. He said he was at the hospital he had been hit by a car while he was riding his skateboard. It was one of those fantasy things he does from time to time. I ask him if he wanted me to come down and he said no it would not be necessary. I played around with him for a while and then he said he had better go. He made no mention of the card so I have no idea whether he has received it or not. He should be getting the cord sometime next week.

It has been raining pretty hard most of the night. I got a new program for the computer but it is still running an error message when I close down applications. I am not sure what the problem is but it tends to be a pain in the ass. I never know when something unwanted is being downloaded or some program is getting an update. Sort of frustrating to have things happening that you apparently have no control over.

The Expedition started barely again so I stopped by Schwabs and got a new battery. It was just too chancy to have it on the edge. It was going to have to be done. I got some office supplies at Office Depot. I swung by the fruit lady and got some apples and squash. I ate at the China Buffet for seven bucks and got nachos and ice cream for supper. I am 175 and that is too much so I will begin going back down and try to exercise more.

I got a note from Michael’s mom encouraging me to come down to GP. I will probably go though it will be spending money I should not spend plus the wear and tear on the car.
