The wind is howling this morning though the temperature is near 40. There is nothing rushing at the scale house. There was a snow shower before I went to bed. I plan to do some more exercises today. I should do better if for no other reason than being healthy for Mikey. I need to be careful in the Christmas spending. I need to reply to MaryEllen. She always has a financial crisis of some kind. Maybe I will hit the Powerball on Wednesday. That would be nice to get on my feet again.

I got a couple of messages from Michael’s mom today. One this morning in answer to my original email. Then this afternoon I guess she was having a time with Dom and Ayden and needed to blow off some steam. It sounds like those little kids are really screwed up and may be getting worse. I would think that they might need some professional help soon. The parents sound like idiots. But it would probably be tough to take them away. She was wondering whether Annie had returned and she was going to send Mikey an ecard. I have been wondering when Mikey is going to get the book I sent on Friday. I would think it would be in the next day or two.

Damn. I discovered I had screwed up some of the paper work on a container. I will have to straighten it out when I get to work tomorrow. Dang, I hate that. It happens when we get stuck on an order and we are bringing containers in without the booking number on them. I made sure that I mentioned it to Javier.

I called Mikey and he was in a pretty good mood as always. He said they were going to have a big celebration tomorrow because Annie was coming home. That is probably good because I don’t worry so much about Katie doing something stupid. He said that he went to sleep last night and forgot to call me. I doubt it but I accepted it since I imagine that his mother was in the listening audience.
